Access to this menu in Betools through: VODIcon.png Video On Demand > Content Workflow > Preparation Area


The Preparation Area menu helps the operator to review the metadata information, just in case any additional parameter needs to be added or modified. It is the first step of the Content Publication phase of the Content Workflow process.

This page lists all the contents that are yet in Preparation Area stage, waiting to be reviewed, or items that were rejected from the Quality Area and sent back to Preparation Area. This page has the same configuration as the Movies page.

Preparation process

This stage of the Content Workflow process is intended for reviewing all the metadata and the related information about the movie. Fill and correct any missing or wrong information. You can use the Conformity block to reflect the result of this verification.
Once you have finished, change the movie status to Quality Area, so it can continue with the process and save changes by using the Save3.png in the movie page.
