Instance Notifications

GVP > Affected Services > Instance Notifications

The Affected Services Agent is responsible for analyzing SCOM xml files with errors reported by all GVP components and sending e-mail with alerts about the errors or to do a post on an URL.

All the users from certain instance inserted on Instance Notification will receive these e-mails when some error happens and when the error is resolved.

Creating a new Instance Notification

It just click on the 'New' button File:New.png to create a new Instance Notification.

Basically when creating an Instance Notification the following fields will be displayed:

  • ID – Internal.
  • Creation Date – Internal, datetime of the creation.
  • Instance – Instance where it belongs.

Updating an Instance Notification

The operator might want to update an existing Instance Notification, such as:

  • Change the Instance;

For that it is just select the Instance Notification that you will want change, click on it and edit it.

Once you have modified the SCOM Notification, press the Save button Save.png in MiB.

Deleting a Instance Notification

The operator can also decide to delete an already configured Notification. In order to delete a Notification, press the delete button Delete.png in MiB.
