The Affected Services Agent is responsible for analyzing SCOM xml files with errors reported by all GVP components and sending e-mail with alerts about the errors, to do a post on an URL or both.

All the users from certain instance inserted on SCOM Notification will receive these e-mails when some error happens and when the error is resolved.

==== Creating a new SCOM Notification ====

It just click on the 'New' button [[File: New.png]] to create a new SCOM Notification.

Basically when creating a SCOM Notification the following fields will be displayed:

* '''ID''' – Internal.
* '''Creation Date''' - Internal, datetime of the creation.
* '''Instance''' – Instance where it belongs.
* '''Send Type''' – Can be: Inactive, Email, HttpPost or Both.
* '''Email''' – User email to send the message.

==== Updating a SCOM Notification ====

The operator might want to update an existing SCOM Notification for several reasons, such as:

* Change the Instance;
* Change the Send Type;
* Change the Email;

For that it is just select the SCOM Notification that you will want change, click on it and edit it.

Once you have modified the SCOM Notification, press the Save button [[File: Save.png]] in MiB.

==== Deleting a SCOM Notification ====

It is not possible to delete a SCOM Notification once was already created.
