Blocks
MIB Users
In this page, Administrator users or Users with 'Is Administrator' flag selected, will be able to manage MIB users: manage users information, permissions to applications, sources and the different groups the users will belong. This page is hosted by MIB Authorization component.

Delete User
Deletes by using the the MIB user. Only available to Users in the Administratos group.
Update profile information
Modify user information and once finished, save changes by using the .
Upload new profile picture
You can update the user profile picture. Hover on the current picture to select a new one.

Use the to go back to MIB3.
Logout
Use the to logout from MIB3.
Applications
This section allows to manage the different applications that the user has granted access to his profile information. If remove, the user will be asked to grant access again after the next login.
Remove application
- Use the button to remove an application from the list.
- Once finished, save changes by using the button of the block.
Group permissions
This section allows to assign the user to different groups. By doing this, the user will automatically inherit the Media Type permissions defined at the groups he belongs to.
Select the groups the user has to belong and save changes using the button of this section.
Group Allowed to Manage
This section allows to assign the user to different groups. By doing this, the user will have permission to manage these groups.
Add existing MIB Groups
- Click the button and a dialog will open to select and existing MIB Groups.
- Once finished, save changes by using the in the Group Allowed To Manage block and the MIB Groups will be associated.
Remove MIB Groups from mib user
- Use the button to remove the association of a Mib Group from the mib user .
- Once finished, save changes by using the in the Group Allowed to Manage block. This will not delete the MIB Group from the platform.
Boolean Permissions
This section allows to determine the different items that the mib users be able to access.
Modify boolean permissions
- Mark/Unmark the 'Enabled/Allowed' checkbox of the wanted item .
- Once finished, save changes by using the button of the boolean permissions block.
Sources Permissions
This section allows to define the permissions the user has over the different sources. This will determine the different items of the different sources that the user will be able to access, modify and/or delete.
The permissions that can be configured are:
- R: Read access. The user will be able to access items belonging to this source.
- W: Read access. The user will be able to modify items belonging to this source.
- D: Read access. The user will be able to delete items belonging to this source.
- OR: Own read access. The user will be able only to access items belonging to this source that have been created by him (owner = user).
- OW: Own write access. The user will be able only to modify items belonging to this source that have been created by him (owner = user).
- OD: Own delete access. The user will be able only to delete items belonging to this source that have been created by him (owner = user).
- I: Inherit. The permissions are inherited from parent source.
Modify source permissions
Media Type Permissions
This section allows to define the permissions the user has over the different Media Types. The user MediaTypes permissions are inherited from the different group he belongs to. So by adding new Media Type permissions, it will allow to provide additional access than the one defined by its groups.
The permissions that can be configured are:
- R: Read access. The user will be able to access items belonging to this source.
- W: Read access. The user will be able to modify items belonging to this source.
- D: Read access. The user will be able to delete items belonging to this source.
- OR: Own read access. The user will be able only to access items belonging to this source that have been created by him (owner = user).
- OW: Own write access. The user will be able only to modify items belonging to this source that have been created by him (owner = user).
Modify Media Type permissions
- Mark the permissions for each Media Type.
- Once finished, save changes by using the button of the block.
