MIB Users
In this page, Administrator users or Users with 'Is Administrator' flag selected, will be able to manage MIB users: manage users information, permissions to applications, sources and the different groups the users will belong. This page is hosted by MIB Authorization component.
It is only accepted for usernames: caracteres from A-z, 0-9, . (dot), _ (underscore) and @ (at). The validations are applied both during user creation and edition."

| Timezone | Select timezone for the user. Depending on the timezone selected, the dates and times in MIB will be translated to that specific timezone. | |
| Profile Picture | Upload or update the optional avatar image that is displayed to identify the user over the system. | |
| Notes | Allows to add notes of information about the user. | |
| Category | The value of the MibUser Instance. This value can be none. | ReadOnly for All Users, except for Admin Users. |
| New Password | Allows to modify the user password to a new one. | |
| Confirm New Password | Confirmation of the new password. | |
| Password Expires? | Flag that indicates if the password expires. If enabled, the user will have to change his password after 60 days. | |

Group permissions
This section allows to assign the user to different groups. By doing this, the user will automatically inherit the Media Type permissions defined at the groups he belongs to.
Select the groups the user has to belong and save changes using the
button of this section.
MIB API: Media Types Permission
This section allows to define the permissions the user has over the different Media Types. The user MediaTypes permissions are inherited from the different group he belongs to. So by adding new Media Type permissions, it will allow to provide additional access than the one defined by its groups.
The permissions that can be configured are:
- Read: Read access. The user will be able to access items belonging to this Media Type.
- Write: Write access. The user will be able to modify items belonging to this Media Type.
- Delete: Delete access. The user will be able to delete items belonging to this Media Type.
- Read (Owner): Own read access. The user will be able only to access items belonging to this Media Type that have been created by him (owner = user).
- Write (Owner): Own write access. The user will be able only to modify items belonging to this Media Type that have been created by him (owner = user).
- Delete (Owner): Own delete access. The user will be able only to delete items belonging to this Media Type that have been created by him (owner = user).
- Audit: The user will be able to access the Edition History of that Media Type.
Modify Media Type permissions
- Mark the permissions for each Media Type.
- Once finished, save changes by using the
button of the block.
MIB API: Sources Permission
This section allows to define the permissions the user has over the different sources. This will determine the different items of the different sources that the user will be able to access, modify and/or delete.
The permissions that can be configured are:
- Read: Read access. The user will be able to access items belonging to this source.
- Write: Write access. The user will be able to modify items belonging to this source.
- Delete: Delete access. The user will be able to delete items belonging to this source.
- Read (Owner): Own read access. The user will be able only to access items belonging to this source that have been created by him (owner = user).
- Write (Owner): Own write access. The user will be able only to modify items belonging to this source that have been created by him (owner = user).
- Delete (Owner): Own delete access. The user will be able only to delete items belonging to this source that have been created by him (owner = user).
- I: Inherit. The permissions are inherited from parent source.
Modify source permissions
Menu Permissions
This section allows to define which Menu items that specific user has access, on top of those inherited from the Groups it belongs to.
Modify boolean permissions
- Mark/Unmark the 'Enabled/Allowed' checkbox of the wanted item .
- Once finished, save changes by using the
button of the boolean permissions block.
Edit History Dashboard: Boolean Permissions
This section allows to determine access to the Edit History Dashboard feature.

GVP Custom: Boolean Permissions
This section allows to determine access additional GVP features, on top of those defined at Groups.

This section allows to define permissions to the Configuration Keys at the Parameters configuration page.
